A high-impact residential workshop over 5 days, using the group as a case study.

FOCUS

An immersive retreat that challenges executives to discover why they lead in the way they do, what they’re prepared to risk in order to be genuinely influential and effective, and how to connect people’s best efforts to the goals of the organisation. This program is designed to extend your leadership repertoire in profoundly useful ways and to help you develop robust mental skills for the long haul.

APPROACH

Program participants come together as a live learning system – working in plenary, small groups and pairs. The group assembled becomes a working organisation examining and confronting real group dynamics, real power and influence, and real leadership – in real time – in response to challenges and provocations introduced by the program facilitators and arising from the group itself.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Executives who are keenly interested in examining how their habits, defences and self-talk limit their effectiveness and who want to be fully in charge of the emotional resources and leadership skills they bring to their roles.

YOUR PART

This is a program for people who appreciate that if they are to be truly effective and influential leaders then they need to let go of the argy-bargy that keeps them from being so – like addictions to being right, to rank, to excuses for unhelpful bad habits, to the same old same old. If you are unwilling to receive frank behavioral feedback, if you want group life to be perpetually serene and stable, if you want to avoid uncertainty and ambiguity, and if you shudder at the thought of holding the mirror up to yourself – then this program is probably not for you.
